School Rules
  • Every student must carry his Almanac to school everyday. In case it is lost, it should be reported to the class teacher immediately and a new almanac should be obtained.
  • The students are always expected to set standards of good conduct and politeness in the school, in the buses and at public places.
  • Students will daily assemble on the prayer ground for prayer at the scheduled time and stand in lines. After the prayer they will proceed to their respective class room.
  • The students are expected to maintain discipline in the school premises. However if they defy the rules, they would be given a warning through the issue of cards of different colours viz white, yellow and red. Red card would attract strict action against the students.
  • Students shall attend the school on time and in clean and proper uniform as prescribed. Improperly or shabbily dresses students will be back home.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. Girls should plait their hair if it is more than shoulder length.
  • In moving from class to class, students should take care not to disturb other classes.
  • Students shall arrive in the school 5 minutes before the starting bell.
  • During the absence of the teacher from the class, students should be under the discipline of the monitor till the arrival of the teacher.
  • All students must be in their respective seats before the teacher enters the class.
  • The students of this school are expected to set a standard of polite manners and good conduct wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should always greet their teachers and elders whenever they meet them.
  • No students shall leave the classroom without the ‘pass’ and permission of the teacher.
  • No student shall enter the class, after the work is begun, without permission of the teacher nor shall he/she leave the class without the permission of the teacher.
  • No student shall disturb other classes at work on the class during the teaching periods.
  • No student shall disturb other classes at work on the flimsy plea of getting the loan of pencil, pen or books etc., from any of his friends.
  • Students moving along the corridors or during the change of period, must walk in silence, in an orderly manner and in a single line.
  • No students shall remain in the classroom during the morning assembly, library period, P.T. period etc. without permission of the teacher concerned.
  • Irregularity in attendance, continuous unsatisfactory progress in studies, neglect of homework, indiscipline, disrespectful behavior towards teachers, bad moral influence, wilful damage to the school property, along with lack of attendance, absence from class without proper application from the parent, truancy, delay in payment of the school fees and dues will be sufficient reasons for removal of students name from the school rolls.
  • Students are expected to keep themselves so prepared and up to date in their studies that could sit for any test or examination any time without notice. This is not difficult if they are regular in their lessons and complete their homework. They should always seek the help of subject teachers in case of difficulty in the subject.
  • It will not be appreciated, if the students absent themselves a day or two before the tests or examinations for preparing their lessons. Students who are regular in their studies do not need to absent themselves in this manner.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and each other’s property. No students should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, damage or misuse any school property, write or draw on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done by anyone should be reported at once. Any damage done to the building, glass panes, furniture, apparatus, library or any other property will be rectified by the one responsible for it.
  • Students should make use of the dustbins provided for throwing bits of paper etc. They are expected to keep the school campus neat and clean.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. The school does not approve the practice of applying for short/half day leave after the student has attended a few classes. In case of an emergency, parents or members of the family should come to the school to take their wards particularly in case of girl students.
  • Parents and guardians should not visit the teachers in the classrooms.
  • Students are strictly forbidden to purchase any article of food from un-authorized vendors near the school premises.
  • Students are advised not to bring costly articles like watches/ cameras/ calculators / jewellery etc. to the school. Any loss of articles or money should be reported to the class teacher or subject teachers immediately. Lending or borrowing money or other articles are not permitted. The school will not be responsible for articles or cash lent, borrowed or lost. The school will not be responsible for articles or cash lent, borrowed or lost. Weapons of any kind are not allowed. If a student brings a mobile phone to school he/she will pay a fine of Rs. 1000/-. If he/she brings it again then the mobile will be confiscated and the student will be suspended from the school.
  • Students who go home on their own by public buses or by walking should make it a point to return home from the school so as not to be the cause of any worry for their parents as well as for the school authorities.
  • Depending upon the needs of weak students (Class XI + Class XII) the school may organize extra-remedial classes beyond the school hours. The parents co-operation will be appreciated.
  • Admission for class XI will begin as notified on the notice board after the examination/result of class X and will continue for the next 7 working days. The unsuccessful candidates of class XI must report during this period, if they wish to continue in this school. Admission after the period will depend on the availability of seats. Selection for the two streams will be strictly based on the eligibility of marks for respective streams. Nobody with less than 4 CGPA marks will be eligible for admission to Class XI.
  • No students shall be allowed to talk to any outsider or relative at any place other than the reception during the school hours.
  • Students are not allowed to call any student from the school on the direction of any outsider.
  • No student sill be allowed to change the bus route number allotted to him/her without the sanction of school authorities or a written request from the parents.
  • In regard to all matters not specifically mentioned here the pupils of this school shall always conduct themselves in a way not derogatory to their self-respect and to the fair name of the institution.
  • As regards action taken for violation of these rules Principal’s decision will be final and binding.
