No student shall absent himself from the class without obtaining prior permission of the class teacher. If prior permission cannot be had on grounds of health or unforseen circumstances an application for leave shall be sent to the class teacher, not letter than the following day.
All applications for leave shall be attested by the parent. Applications for leave for a period not exceeding six days shall be sent to the class teacher and for a long period to the Principal.
Application for leave on medical ground for more than two days shall invariably be supported by medical certificates.
Leave for one period only may be granted by the teacher-in-charge of the class during that period. Leave for more than one period shall be obtained only from class teacher who will consult his colleagues before granting or rejecting the request.
Late-comers will be suitably punished.
Irregularity in attendance, upunctuality and truancy on the part of the students will be specially dealt with the principal on report from the class teachers.
No student shall be eligible for promotion unless he/she puts in an attendance of 75% of the total number of working days in the whole year. This rule holds good in respect of Physical Education classes also. Parents are particularly requested to take note of this rule
After a long absence (without the permission of the School authorities) of 6 working days for boys and 10 working days for girls name will be struck off or the name may be re-entered after the payment of Re-Adm. fee of Rs. 1,000.00 and other fines.
